Help Wanted! - Office Operations & Student Behavior Support Specialist
Looking for an energetic individual to assist with multiple tasks in our Elementary school office and classrooms.
 
Job Duties would include:
 
Answering phones
Communicating with teachers and parents
Assisting secretarial staff with various tasks
Assisting teachers in the classroom
Working one on one with students
Assisting principal as needed
Minor discipline support
 
The ideal candidate has:
Proficient computer skills
Effective and professional communication skills with adults and youth
Willingness to jump in where needed
 
This job needs to be filled from now until May 29th. There is a possibility that a permanent job opportunity will be available to apply for in the 2026 – 2027 school year.

Bus Drivers Needed

The School District of Prentice has a school bus driver vacancy. This position will assist with routes, events, and field trips. This position will begin as soon as possible.

Requirements of the position include:

  • Possession of a CDL. Training will be provided to obtain school bus driver endorsements.
  • A demonstrated ability to communicate with students, parents, and school officials in order to provide a safe ride to and from school.
  • A demonstration of excellent school bus driving skills are also required.

Coaches Needed

MIDDLE SCHOOL TRACK

The School District of Prentice currently has a vacancy on its staff for the middle school track coach position. The position is to begin with the start of the 2025-2026 sports season. Knowledge of the rules and strategies of the game, have a desire to help students reach their athletic potential, and promote a teamwork mentality. Previous successful coaching experience at the high/middle school level is a plus. The successful candidate for this position will be a highly motivated person who understands the unique role athletics plays in the school program and the current and future lives of student athletes.

There is a need for substitute teachers in the Prentice School District. Bachelors or 2 year associate degree needed, which does not need to be in education. And one day training course needed.
