Position Summary:
The School District of Prentice, a K-12 district located in Prentice, Wisconsin, is seeking an exemplary and dedicated educational leader to fill the unique role of Middle School/High School Principal and Director of Special Education. We are a community committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and high-achieving environment for every student. The successful candidate will provide strong instructional leadership, ensure a safe and disciplined learning environment, and lead curriculum development while overseeing special education programming and compliance in a rural school setting.
Duties and Expectations:
- Maintain a positive, structured school climate with consistent discipline practices
- Lead curriculum development, alignment, and implementation
- Serve as Special Education Director with demonstrated knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Supervise and evaluate certified and support staff
- Use data to drive instructional improvement and student achievement
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
- Communicate effectively with students, families, staff, and community
- Collaborate with the Superintendent and School Board
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Educational Leadership or related field
- Must possess or be eligible for Wisconsin DPI certification 5051 – Principal
- Must hold or be eligible for a Wisconsin DPI license as a Director of Special Education and Pupil Services (DPI #80 or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 3 years of successful K-12 educational experience is preferred
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Student discipline and behavior management
- Special education administration
- Curriculum development and instructional leadership
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary and benefits will be based upon experience and qualifications.

Bus Drivers Needed
The School District of Prentice has a school bus driver vacancy. This position will assist with routes, events, and field trips. This position will begin as soon as possible.
Requirements of the position include:
- Possession of a CDL. Training will be provided to obtain school bus driver endorsements.
- A demonstrated ability to communicate with students, parents, and school officials in order to provide a safe ride to and from school.
- A demonstration of excellent school bus driving skills are also required.

Coaches Needed
MIDDLE SCHOOL TRACK
The School District of Prentice currently has a vacancy on its staff for the middle school track coach position. The position is to begin with the start of the 2025-2026 sports season. Knowledge of the rules and strategies of the game, have a desire to help students reach their athletic potential, and promote a teamwork mentality. Previous successful coaching experience at the high/middle school level is a plus. The successful candidate for this position will be a highly motivated person who understands the unique role athletics plays in the school program and the current and future lives of student athletes.
