Prentice School District
A Community of Excellence!
The Prentice School District's guidance program is intended to provide all students with supportive services to help them be successful in their high school careers. This will include helping them develop a positive self-concept, becoming aware of opportunities, and developing strong decision-making skills. The guidance program works to support the instructional and learning activities at Prentice High School.
The following services are available to all high school students:
- Individual counseling for each student to discuss openly and in confidence concerns that he/she may have.
- Group/Classroom activities such as course selection, career exploration, testing and post-high school planning.
- Student records consisting of the student cumulative folder are maintained in the guidance office.
