Prentice Area Middle School is a 5th grade through 8th grade campus connected along with the Prentice High School. We encourage students at the Middle School to be active participants in our school. The classrooms at the middle school are relatively self-contained, but some classroom to classroom movement helps the students to prepare for their high school experience. Eighth grade students, not only have their core subjects, but can also take Explore classes, Industrial Arts, Creative Living, Keyboarding, and Spanish each lasting for a 12 week period. Seventh and eighth grade students can also attend band and/or chorus to showcase their musical talents. All middle school students can become involved with student council if they so desire. Student Council meets once a month to help plan events in our school, and to also discuss and accomplish different things to help the community.
